Snapshots of America....  We are literally traveled  from "sea to shining sea" and "border to border"!  Started off in North Carolina and drove I-40 straight out to California. What an amazing country! No where else in the world will you find such beauty and diversity in one country.

 North Carolina- home, green and lush is home to oceans, farmlands and mountains. Traveling through the North Carolina mountains I knew that we were about to embark on a long and fascinating journey. I love the NC Mountains, but I also know there is so much beauty in the rugged landscape of the west. Our journey  would take us through the the deep south with it's oppressed towns and miles and miles of farmland. Blue collar towns and busy metropolitan cities.  We travelled through Texas with miles and miles and miles of open land, the southwest with it's arid climate and desert landscape, California with it's mix of desert landscape, ocean shores, lakes  and imposing  mountains covered in glaciers, rock formations and  pines.  We ventured  through the Northwest and had the honor of viewing it's  majestic mountains and beautiful mountain lakes, bustling cities and adorable small towns.
